他说是过来慰问的,还说他母亲和我母亲是“朋友”,自己是地产经纪,所以想要给我提供帮助,于是问了这个房子现在是谁在居住,还问我进一步的打算。
如今大半个月过去了,我想起来这一幕还是很震惊,令人毛骨悚然,就算是温哥华的房地产市场火爆,难道真的到了这个份上了么?
我并不是指责殡仪馆出售我的个人信息,但是我们连讣告都没出。
我也相信,这位先生的母亲和我母亲认识,但是不是朋友就难说了。如果真的是朋友,那么“故意透露”信息也更让人作呕了…
是不是感觉不可思议?但是,这种事情很早就有曝光了。
西人地产经纪发悼信招揽生意
2016年,素里的Ted Smith遭遇了丧妻之痛,在办理后事的时候,有两名西人经纪发来悼念信,上面写着:“亲爱的史密斯先生,我们对于你妻子的离世感到难过。如果之后你需要处理地产方面的问题,请与我们联系,谢谢。”然后还有两张名片在上面夹着。
Ted Smith的女儿将这件事曝光,而两名经纪却表示名片不是故意放上的。
还有很多网友表示,自己早就遇到过这种事情了。
“我父亲前一天凌晨2:45左右去世之后,第二天凌晨3点有经纪打电话,问我母亲是不是要卖房…我母亲非常生气,问了问对方的名字,并且明确表示,就算卖房,也不会找他。然后母亲抱紧了12岁的我痛哭。”
“我祖父去世之后,有个经纪来家里三次,甚至还在邮箱里塞了纸条,上面写着‘聊一聊’,真是简直了。”
“我一个邻居家的女主人在圣诞节前癌症去世了,她曾经好过一阵,后来又患癌2年去世了。去世不到一周,男主人和儿子也遇到了这种事情,被经纪频繁打扰,询问是否买房卖房…”
令人无语的是,这种事情并非只发生在房地产行业。
“他们这样做,说明以前成功过。我曾在保险行业工作,有护士就会卖给我们资料,很多人都会买,毕竟这份名单上的潜在客户成交率更高。很多人会给全家人投保险,有时候一个预约就可能赚到一周的薪水。”
“我父亲当时的遗体还在家里,有邻居看到我家车道上停着验尸货车,就过来递名片,想要买下我家的农场,理由是他认为我母亲一个人没办法经营下去。事实上,我母亲真的撑了下来,一步步学习,到现在农场价值$1700万。如今母亲虽然已经75岁了,但还是凡事亲力亲为,夏天还会亲自装7吨的浆果。”
虽然这种做法可能不违法法规,但是这对当事人造成的心理伤害是巨大的,也极有可能起反作用。希望,这种事情不再发生了。
