加拿大社会老龄化的问题日益突出，许多老年人都在为自己晚年如何安然无忧地度过而发愁。不只是老年人，许多中国移民40多岁来到加拿大，忙着找到自己的工作定位，忙着把孩子送进大学，一通忙下来，蓦然回首，发现自己也不得不考虑日益迫近的养老问题了。

加拿大的养老院和养老医疗机构收费之高众所周知，其实大部分普通人是无力承担的。于是，最近一个词开始在媒体上火了起来：“抱团养老”。

最近本地华文媒体披露，加拿大CTV以Golden Girls为题介绍了多伦多北部小镇Port Perry 四位年龄在65岁至71岁之间的老姐妹抱团养老的故事。Beverly Brown，Louise Bardswich，Martha Casson和Sandy McCully被媒体称为现实生活中的“Golden Girls(上世纪80年代一部美国电视剧，讲述四位年长女性在美国迈阿密的一座大房子里互相照顾、相互扶持，一起经历人生酸甜苦辣的故事)”。

现实生活中的“黄金四姐妹”都不想给自己的孩子们增添压力和负担，同时又不想住在老人院，一个人孤孤单单的搬到公寓里住也不是她们喜欢的。于是几个人一拍即合，决定共同买一个房子，共同居住，抱团养老。当地的一名建筑承包商John Lucyk对这个计划很感兴趣，2016年他在Port Perry城中心买了一栋3,400平方英尺的房子，走路就能到商店、药店、银行、餐馆等地。经过申请获得政府批准后，Lucyk改造了房子以容纳四个新业主。

新闻详细介绍了房子的稿件过程、四位老姐妹的费用分摊以及她们制定的生活守则等等，可谓其乐融融，让外人也有满心期待之感。

其实不久前，某知名华人网站也介绍了华人版的“抱团养老”方案。位于GTA北部的一座大屋，周遭农场空间巨大，可以养鸡种菜、自给自足，屋主诚邀一些年龄相仿的老年人在那里共同生活，后续报道据说还成功举办了一次规模甚大的聚餐联欢活动。

“抱团养老”其实也是社会群体心理的一种非常正常的反映。老年人的子女忙于工作，本来就有疏离之感，再加上加拿大好山好水好寂寞，国内的人脉关系都被隔绝了，更是心中闲得发慌。不仅仅是笔者的长辈，很多来这里的老年人都有这样的感觉。如果住个半年就回国换一下生活节奏，也就忍忍了，真要长期住在这里，简直有点“无期徒刑”的感觉。

人性天生喜欢分享与诉求，养老院一则费用高昂，二则大多数老年人心理上总有一点排斥感。所以“抱团养老”的提法应运而生，一则费用要低很多，二则没有那种藩篱，志同道合一起生活，心理上也要轻松很多。

但笔者看来，“抱团”聚聚玩玩也就罢了，真要提升到养老的高度，背后的不可测风险无限大。

养老院和老年医疗机构都配备有医生、护士和护工这三道保障，但“抱团养老”显然是不具备的。有的人可能要说，医院又不远，有点事同伴叫个车不久行了。但问题是你的同伴都是缺乏医疗护卫经验的老年人，自顾尚且不暇，在关键的几分钟里，他们可能都判断不出来你是否有危险症状，那这个事情就麻烦大了。

再怎么“抱团”，老年人本质上还是独居，总不可能大家挤在一间大屋里，你影响我，我影响你吧。大家有各自己的私密空间，这当然让人感到轻松许多，但缺少了护工的监护，不可测风险同样会陡然增加。而如果“抱团养老”引进护工的概念，那如果是只有一个的话，责权利无法有效界定，每人都配一个的话，不仅费用高上许多，而且基本上就等于跟护工“抱团”了。

所以，“抱团养老”这种说法虽然概念新潮，内容轻松活泼，容易引起老年人的共鸣，但必须考虑背后隐藏的风险。那些希望退休后过上有保障的生活的人士，还不如研究一下相关的养老医疗保险和理财服务，在财务和健康方面尽量消除不确定性，关键时候要麻烦子女那也是他们应尽的义务不用顾虑，至于“抱团”则完全可以随兴而为。
